Like any organisation, maintaining a safe place to work is our upmost priority. Our Health and Safety policy and performance record have been externally audited as part of our accreditation to a number of nationally recognised independent Health & Safety Assessment Schemes.
Our accreditation to ISO 45001 highlights our commitment to the continued development of robust health and safety procedures that are augmented by a series of training programmes for all management and site based personnel.
Our accreditations define our commitment to health and safety in the workplace, and our systems and procedures have been designed to reduce the potential for accidents, helping guarantee compliance with all health and safety legislation and continually reviewing and improving upon our overall health and safety performance.
To ensure competency in health and safety we conduct training on a continuous basis across our organisation. We are committed to ensuring that all employees receive health and safety training and understand that to effectively maintain and continually improve our health and safety performance, all employees must be trained in the understanding of their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance to the company policy.
A copy of our health and safety policy and safety method statements is drawn up as part of the Assignment Instructions that we develop and maintain for every site on which our staff operate. Assignment Instructions detail the processes and procedures our staff must follow in relation to their site duties and include all aspects of health and safety. We ensure competency in health and safety through individual assessments on every employee to assess their knowledge and understanding on a monthly basis as part of our overall performance monitoring and measurement procedures.
All our managers have completed comprehensive RoSPA approved health and safety training and receive regular refresher training as standard.
