You will be expected to cover two sites within St Neots Employee Status: Permanent Reference: Emd/StNeotsClusRole Overview As a Retail Security Officer at Cordant Security Limited, you are more than a Security Guard. You’ll be a key part of our team.  You will ensure the safety of our staff, customers and assets whilst providing excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.  It’s a varied and exciting role which will include acting as a visual deterrent, liaising with police and other emergency services, report writing along with internal/external patrols. No day is the same and the Security Officer for the role must have a strong sense of working on initiative in the most productive manner. The officer must ensure all training from the client and Cordant Security are completed and adhered to while on duty and frequently liaising with the store Management on a weekly/daily basis to discuss store inventory results, high loss products and findings during patrols in order to reduce loss via theft in the store. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, officers must be customer friendly, meeting and greeting customers in a professional manner and also building a good working relationship with the client staff while at work. Officers are expected to able to de-escalate situations, checking of customer receipts, assisting store with enforcing social distancing measures and reporting of all incidents via the Client specific link and also to the Cordant Control room. This role will be mentally and physically challenging.
