With the announcement of the Cordant Group becoming a social enterprise Cordant Projects have been keen to support the message throughout their business.
Most recently Cordant Projects have partnered up with Manchester College giving students in the Manchester area an opportunity for employment straight out of college.
Students will be given 1-2 weeks work experience with teams throughout Cordant Projects ranging from tradesmen through to Project Managers allowing students to experience working life past college earning them vital experience in their chosen discipline.
At the end of their college course some students will be offered roles within the company should they decide to continue their path into the construction industry.
Sean Kilheeney, Senior Operations Director said “With recent developments within the Cordant Group we were keen to play our part in the Social Enterprise initiative. We wanted to take the opportunity to give back to the community and help invest in the future of the construction industry."
