Brought together by the county's major bus operators, Bus 18 sees Arriva Yorkshire, First West Yorkshire and Transdev, and ABOWY representing smaller operators, working together to improve bus services, encouraging more people to use them.
On 24th March 2017, the Bus 18 initiative launched with the promise of running more punctual, easy to use bus systems.
And to mark the Bus 18 commitment to better customer satisfaction from Friday 24th March any passengers not happy with their bus journey will be able to claim a free travel voucher from either; First West Yorkshire, Arriva Yorkshire or Transdev.
Also, cusotmers can now call a taxi and claim the cost back from either First West Yorkshire, Arriva Yorkshire or Transdev if their last bus doesn't arrive within 20 minutes of the scheduled time.
Cordant Cleaning is contracted by First Bus to provide transportation cleaning services across 12 sites throughout Scotland and Yorkshire. Cordant was also entrusted to provide a deep clean for the First Bus display vehicle which would be included in the launch day at Bus 18, receiving many compliments on the cleanliness of the bus.
