Cordant's key role at Grand Pacific

Cordant Projects, part of Cordant Services, has played a key role in the construction of one of Manchester's most talked-about dining rooms. Projects delivered a range of mechanical installation services during the creation of Grand Pacific, a new bar and restaurant owned by Living Ventures Group.

An in-house team of specialists installed the heating, air conditioning, ventillation, plumbing and sanitary systems across the whole premises, including both front and back of house. In addition, Cordant Projects ensured all the neccessary services were in place at the site, such as water, drainage and gas systems. The 16-week programme was completed on time and to budget.

Cordant was awarded the contract following a competitive tender, which intially saw three companies shortlisted. The company has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Living Ventures Group, delivering a range of services across more than 20 restaurants since 2015.

Steve Collett, Project Manager at Living Ventures Group, said: "Once again Cordant Projects has demonstrated its abilitiy to consistently provide highly professional and cost effective mechanical services. Grand Pacific is a fantastic and atmospheric venue offering first class food and drink, and Cordant Projects has played an important part in making this scheme a success."

Ian Woods, Managing Director of Cordant Projects, said: "Grand Pacific deserves to take its place as one of Manchester's most revered hotspots and we are proud of our important contribution to this project. Our industry-leading levels of service, combined with our aptitude for completing major projects on time and to budget, is a significant reason behind our sustained growth."
