Outstanding Transport Cleaning Service During COVID-19

Back in November Cordant Cleaning was proud to receive two Global Light Rail awards in the newly created Outstanding Achievement category.

Adam Cardiff, Specialist and Periodic Clean Supervisor received the highly commended accolade, and the Cordant Cleaning brand walked away the overall winners.

So what makes Cordant Cleaning ‘outstanding’ in our sectors? Here we reflect on our service during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The coronavirus outbreak has brought many challenges. The united focus across the globe has been the protection of people’s health, safety and wellbeing.

In the UK, the role of public transport was crucial in keeping essential services running, enabling key workers to get to their place of work, and ensuring people who couldn’t work from home were able to support their families, and the economy. To keep the country moving it became critical that public transportation; busses; trams and trains; be cleaned and maintained to the highest possible level.

As a leading cleaning service provider in the transport sector, our teams responded to the pandemic offering peace of mind to both client and commuter. Cordant audited and highlighted the risks as soon as the news of Covid-19 broke, and gave suggestions on service alterations to clients.
